EMMETSBURG -- Daddy/Daughter Dance is 6:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Shores at Five Island, Emmetsburg. Tickets are $25 per daddy and daughter, $10 for each additional daughter/guest and may be purchased at the door.

FORT DODGE -- Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., is holding a rummage sale, bake sale, lunch and silent auction from noon to 6 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY. On Saturday there will be a $1 bag sale beginning at 10:30 a.m. The sale will be cash only. Lunch menu is sloppy joes, chips, homemade pie and a drink served in The Grace Cafe in the main level Fireside Room both days. The silent auction will conclude at noon Saturday. Top bidders need not be present to win auction items. Proceeds go to education scholarship and Lutheran Disaster Response.
FORT DODGE -- The 41st Friends of St. Edmond Ball is 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the Best Western Starlight Village Inn & Suites, 1518 Third Ave. N.W. There will be silent and live auctions, buffet dinner, car and tuition raffles and performances by Salty View. Tickets are $60 per person.
FORT DODGE -- Athletics for Education and Success, 712 Third St. N.W., is holding a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta from noon to 5 p.m. SATURDAY. There will be food, beverages, games and prizes, must be present to win a prize. No outside food or beverages will be allowed. The event will be moved indoors in the event of rain.
FORT DODGE -- The Fort Dodge Choral Society concert, "Beauty Surrounds," is 3 p.m. SUNDAY at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 239 N. 11th St. Admission is by season membership or $12 for adults with students admitted free.
FORT DODGE -- The Webster County EMS Association will hold DJ Bingo on SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Highway 169. Happy hour is from 5 to 6 p.m. Bingo is from 6 to 11 p.m. Live music will be provided by Riddled With Class. There will be prizes and an auction.
FORT DODGE -- A benefit for Justin Faiferlick will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. SUNDAY at the Opera House at the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, 1 Museum Road. There will be a silent auction, food, music, 50/50 drawing and more.
