FD teen faces robbery, theft charges A Fort Dodge teenager has been arrested for hitting a man and taking his phone. Derrien D. McElroy, 17, of 248 Ave. D, was arrested by Fort Dodge police and charged with second degree robbery and first degree theft. According to criminal complaints filed against him, McElroy assaulted a man, causing injuries, and took an Apple iPhone 15 valued at $1,200, plus other property.
