FD woman accused of taking $25,000 A Fort Dodge woman has been charged with taking more than $25,000 from her mother’s bank account, according to court records. Brittany D. McCaleb, 40, has been charged with first degree theft, court records indicate. In a criminal complaint filed against her, Fort Dodge police officers wrote that McCaleb took the money between August 2018 and December 2023. That money was to be paid to the Maran Home in Fort Dodge to pay for the mother’s care there, officers wrote in the complaint. McCaleb made her initial appearance in Webster County ...
