Three state legislators who represent Webster County coasted to re-election victories Tuesday because they were unopposed.

They are state Sen. Tim Kraayenbrink, R-Fort Dodge; state Rep. Ann Meyer, R-Fort Dodge; and state Rep. Mike Sexton, R-Rockwell City.

Kraayenbrink represents Senate District 4, which includes Calhoun, Pocahontas, Sac and Webster counties

In Webster County, he received 12,623 votes, according to unofficial election results released Tuesday by Secretary of State Paul Pate.

Sexton represents House District 7, which includes Calhoun, Pocahontas and Sac counties plus western Webster County.

He received 2,285 votes in Webster County, according to unofficial election results.

Meyer represents House District 8, which includes Fort Dodge and eastern Webster County, She received 10,450 votes.
