Woman dies in motorcycle accident
Zeigler, of Humboldt, pronounced dead at scene
HUMBOLDT — A Humboldt woman died in a head-on collision Saturday evening while riding her motorcycle north of Humboldt.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Angela Zeigler, 40, of Humboldt, was driving south on U.S. Highway 169 when a vehicle, driven by Reggie Clark, 56, of Humboldt, attempted to make a left turn into 1731 Lincoln Ave. in front of Zeigler.
The two vehicles collided head on.
Zeigler was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report. Clark was not injured.
The accident happened at approximately 8:12 p.m. Saturday.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, Humboldt EMS, Humboldt Fire Department, and Humboldt County Medical Examiner responded to the scene. Jergens Towing also assisted at the scene.
