WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Lego Movie 2” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

DAYTON — Dayton Wranglers Match of the Broncs Series 2019 is 7 p.m. SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Dayton Rodeo Grounds. The event is free.

EMMETSBURG– Classic Car Cruise Night is 4 to 8 p.m. TODAY at the Emmetsburg A & W, Emmetsburg.

EMMETSBURG — Keep ‘EM Brewing HomeBrewfest is 2 to 10 p.m. SATURDAY at Soper Park. There will be craft beer and native wine tasting, beer and wine beverage garden, musical performances, food by the Palo Alto County Cattlemen and People’s Choice Homebrew Tasting Competiton ($15 commemorative glass to participate). General admission is free.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “Spellbound” will be shown. Admission is free.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto County #2295 VFW and Auxiliary are sponsoring a hog roast from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the post home. A meal of pulled pork, buns, potato salad, baked beans, desserts and drink will be served for a freewill donation. Proceeds will help all veterans of Palo Alto County.

DAYTON — A benefit for Mary Beth Stickel is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at the Dayton Community Center. There will be a freewill donation meal of pork loin sandwich, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, bars and drink. The silent auction begins at 11:30 a.m. with the live auction beginning at 12:30 p.m. Stickel was diagnosed in March with ovarian cancer, had an extensive surgery, is having chemotheraphy treatments and is unable to return to work.

LEHIGH — Lehigh Methodist Church, Lehigh, Second Sunday Supper is 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. A meal of loose meat sandwichs, baked beans, chips, dessert and drink will be served for a freewill offering.

FONDA — Fonda Arts Center, Fonda, is hosting an afternoon performance with Carter Nath at 3 p.m. SUNDAY. Admission and refreshments are free.

BOXHOLM — Trinity Lutheran Church, Boxholm, is holding an ice cream social from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. SUNDAY. Beef burgers, chips, desserts, homemade ice cream and beverage will be served for a freewill donation. Takeouts will be available.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 1 to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Lone Tree Revival. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding “Present / Tense” exhibit opening reception SATURDAY with artist talk at 4 p.m. by Tom & Malayka Gormally.

FORT DODGE — Eagles Dance is 8 to 11 p.m. TODAY at 1018 First Ave. N., third floor ballroom. There will be a dance lesson at 7:15 p.m. Music from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s along with country music will be played. Admission is $10 per person. The dance is sponsored by Ballroom Buddies.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church, 127 N. 10th St., is holding a Community Manna Meal at 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Food will be provided by Northfield Church Youth Group. Bingo will follow the meal.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding First Free Saturday Family Artmaking from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY. On a come and go basis, family groups of adults and children together are welcome to visit the Blanden where an area will be set up for social and creative fun. There will be freewill donations accepted to purchase a gift card for a local food bank.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding an opening reception for Tom and Malayka Gormally from 3 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY. There will be an artist talk at 4 p.m. Refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.

FORT DODGE — Prairie Rivers Trail Ride is 10 a.m. SATURDAY beginning at River Hops Brewing, 1014 Central Ave. The registration fee is $25 per person and includes a free barbecue ticket, T-shirt and entry in the grand prize drawing for a 21-speed mountain bike. Kennedy Memorial Park, 1415 Nelson Ave. Gates open today at 5:30 p.m. with Boogie and the Yo-Yo’z performing from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at Hy-Vee. On Saturday, the Noon Lions Club will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The races start at 8:30 a.m.
