Fort Dodge’s Jerry Patterson announces a game at Patterson Field in the summer of 2008. Patterson was scheduled to be inducted into the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in Cedar Rapids. He was the third Fort Dodger to be inducted, joining Ed McNeil and Connie Goodman. Patterson died in November 2012.
