Holy Trinity spaghetti dinner is Oct. 19

Holy Trinity Parish spaghetti dinner is 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 19, at the Corpus Christi Center, 403 N. Eighth St. The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Carryout is available, beverage not included. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 5 to 11 and free for children ages 4 and under.

Daybreak Rotary chili supper is Oct. 11

The Daybreak Rotary bowl of chili and jumbo cinnamon roll supper is 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11, at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Fifth Ave. N. The supper is drive through only. Tickets are $10 per person. Call Letitia at 515-570-8936 for tickets.

Badger Lions Club pancake breakfast is Oct. 12

BADGER — The Badger Lions Club pancake breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 12, at the Badger Fire Station, Badger. The menu is all the pancakes you can eat plus sausage, eggs, orange juice, milk or coffee for a freewill donation. Net profit will support community and Lions’ projects. Those attending are encouraged to bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids for the Lions to recycle.

Pet Blessing is Sunday

A pet blessing will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church parking lot, 1007 First Ave. S. Bring your leashed or caged pet to be blessed and a lawn chair. There will be a freewill offering taken with all donations going to Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa. This is an outdoor event. In the event of rain, the blessing will be held inside Taylor Hall. The event is sponsored by St. Mark’s Episcopal and Grace Lutheran churches.
