Livermore Candy Cane Lane carriage rides are today

LIVERMORE —The Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post 415 will open its doors at 308 Fourth Ave., Livermore, as a warm waiting area for the Candy Cane Lane carriage riders. The American Legion Auxiliary Post 415 ladies will be serving hot chocolate and cookies that are being donated by the Humboldt Hy-Vee. Candy Cane Lane lighted event is 5 to 7 p.m. today with carriage rides through the Foth Candy Cane Lane to see all the lights. Freewill donations are accepted and if you would like to drive through on your own, follow the lighted signs to 605 Second Ave., Livermore.

Clarion holiday tour of homes is Sunday

CLARION — The Clarion Parks and Rec Committee is holding Clarion holiday tour of homes fundraiser to improve the parks at 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $45 per person and include home tours, progressive appetizers and silent auction. The tour begins at The Bru, 215 Sixth St. S.W., Clarion. There will be a cocktails and silent auction at 4 p.m., welcome, announcements and assignments at 4:45 p.m., the tour of homes begins at 5 p.m. and participants will reconvene at 7:30 p.m. at The Bru for silent auction, voting and prizes. Jamie Aaron Kelley Christmas tour coming to Harcourt Dec. 13

HARCOURT — The Lost Grove Community Center, 116 Larch St., Harcourt, is hosting the Jamie Aaron Kelley fourth annual Christmas Tour at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13, at the center. This is a family-friendly Christmas show with a huge production screen backdrop to give the audience an immersive experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A freewill offering will be accepted for the Lost Grove Community Center preservation fund.

CDA Court 216 will hold a very special Christmas celebration hosted by court officers on Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St., with social time and dinner.
