Adult Winter Reading Challenge at the Fort Dodge Public Library

The Fort Dodge Public Library is having an Adult Winter Reading Challenge this year. The challenge runs through Feb. 28. Pick up reading logs at the library and turn them in for a chance to win weekly prize drawings from Dariette/Ardys Mae Coffee and Desert, Stella’s Coffee Bar, and Bloomers Coffee. Pomeroy Historical Society Bingo starts Jan. 18

POMEROY — The Pomeroy Historical Society is holding Bingo starting Jan. 18 at The Co-Op Bar and Grill, 714 East St., Pomeroy. The cost is $1 per card per game, split winnings 50/50. Bingo will also be held on Feb. 1 and 15, and March 1, 15 and 29.

The Fort Dodge Recreation Department is revving it up with another Mario Kart video game tournament this month.
