The final concert of this 2023 summer season by the Karl L. King Municipal Band of Fort Dodge will be held Sunday back in the Karl L. King Band Shell in beautiful Oleson Park after a one-week absence. Admission is free, courtesy of the City of Fort Dodge. Conductor of the band is Jerrold P. The Karl L. King Municipal Band will continue to make Sunday evening special in Fort Dodge with their weekly band concerts, starting at 7:30 p.m. Because of the Shellbration event on Saturday being held at the Band Shell, the Sunday evening band concert was asked to relocate to another site. That concert will now be held at the Karl L. King Memorial Park, located in downtown Fort Dodge in front of the Fort Dodge Public Library. This area was formerly known as the City Square.
