Again at the Webster County Fair, is the Open Quilt Show. Enter your quilts and showcase your talent. Entry fee is $2, which will be collected at Tillie’s Quilts, 17 S. 12th St. in Fort Dodge with your entry, by 4 p.m. on Friday. Judging will be done prior to the fair and ribbons will be awarded. All entries will be on display during the fair July 15 to 19.

WEBSTER CITY — Phil Hester, a professional comic book artist and writer, will present a program at 1 p.m. today at Mulberry Center Church, 220 Ohio St. in Webster City. The event is free, but donations will be appreciated.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N., will hold its annual car show from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome. There will be door prizes and trophies awarded.
