WEBSTER CITY — Webster City Community Theatre invites audiences to journey beneath the waves this June as nearly 40 area children bring “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.” to life on the WCCT stage.

Based on the beloved Disney classic, the production follows Ariel, a curious young mermaid who dreams of exploring the world above the sea. Audiences will enjoy favorite songs including “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “She’s in Love.”

The production is directed by Lindsay Henderson, assisted by Nichole Ose, with music direction by Meg Cain.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. today, June 26 and 27, and and 2 p.m. today, Sunday, and June 27 and 28.
