Patsy and Chester Harp

Chester and Patsy Harp, of Fort Dodge, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Their family includes Daleen and Angelo Delvescovo, of Elmhurst, Illinois; Howard and Patty Harp, Doug and Sharon Harp, all of Fort Dodge; and Jeff and Julie Harp, of Grimes. They have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Patsy Lee Cobb and Chester Dale Harp were married on Oct. 21, 1951, at the Riverside Methodist Church in Fort Dodge. He retired from Geo. A. Hormel plant when it closed. She worked a variety of jobs.
