LaVon Barkmeier

LaVon Barkmeier, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Rockwell City, will celebrate her 95th birthday April 21.

Her family includes Steve and Maria Barkmeier, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and LuAnn Baker, of Fort Dodge. She has four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband Arlys Barkmeier is deceased.

LaVon Lentz was born on April 21, 1929. She makes baby quilts for World Relief and attends First Nazarene Church.
