Albert Bellingtier, Jr., of Fort Dodge, celebrates his 80th birthday on March 28.

His family includes his wife Marietta; Doug and Deb Bellingtier, of Fort Dodge; Anna and Dale Mesman, of Emery, South Dakota; Mary and Dan Vrieze, of Eyota, Minnesota; and Matthew and Jennifer Bellingtier, of Cary, North Carolina. He has six grandchildren.

Bellingtier was born March 28, 1937. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He married Marietta Schmitz on October 20, 1963. He retired from the United States Post Office in 2000.
