FD Choral Society concert Oct. 29

Fort Dodge Choral Society concert is 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 400 S. 13th St. The concert, “A Round of Applause,” will feature music from the stage and screen. Admission is by season membership or $12 for adults and students admitted free.

Friends of FDPL autumn book sale Oct. 30 through Nov. 4

The Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library will hold an Autumn Book Sale beginning Oct. 30 at the library, 424 Central Ave. The sale begins with the members only sale from 5 to 7 p.m Oct. 30. Memberships are available at the door for $10. Sale hours for Oct. 31 through Nov. 3 are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Nov. 3, anything that fits in a bag is $3. Hours on Nov. 4 are 9 a.m. to noon and anything that fits in a bag is $1 for as many bags of books you can find.

Red Mass at Holy Trinity Oct. 26

Holy Trinity Church, 2501 Sixth Ave. N., is holding a Red Mass at 8:40 a.m. Oct. 26. The Mass is dedicated to all who work in the legal field and courts, as well as the Fort Dodge/Webster County communities. The Mass is open to the public.

Elderbridge Agency on Aging and Upper Des Moines Opportunity are partnering for Santa for Seniors. As the holiday season approaches, seniors in our community need support, now more than ever.
