GILBERTVILLE — The rubber match, seven years later, went to Newell-Fonda here Friday night. The eighth-ranked Mustangs scored a 35-10 upset of No. 3 Don Bosco to advance to the quarterfinals of the eight-player playoffs. Back in 2015, the Dons posted a 30-7 victory in the state semifinals over Newell-Fonda, who won the year before, 37-36.
