STUART – Manson Northwest Webster built a 20-0 first half lead and held on for a 20-8 victory over West Central Valley on Friday.

The Cougars (3-2 overall, 2-1 district) started their scoring on a Clay Freimuth 55-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Keaton Wood had touchdown runs of 65 and 84 yards. Wood finished the night with 13 carries for 187 yards.

Reid Steinberg had 22 carries for 88 yards.

Derek Girard was 5-for-11 passing for 68 yards.

Keegan Pritchard had two catches for 47 yards.

Wood also had an interception.
