To the Editor:

We at the Gene Giraffe Project want to thank Shimkat Motor Co., Diane Jones, Walgreens, KHI Insurance, UnityPoint Clinic Pediatrics, Shimkat employees, New Coop, Dr. Matt Maggio, Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation, Iowa Donor Network through Liz Markert, Coldwell Bankers, Mitch Lunn State Farm Insurance and McGough Construction for donating trees for our Festival of Lights that were on display at Shimkat Motor Co.

Thank you to the people who purchased trees. The remaining trees were donated to Lifeworks, Upper Des Moines Opportunity and families in our area that otherwise didn’t have a tree.

Thanks again to all who came, looked and donated their time to put up trees. We are blessed to have great people in our community to help others.
