Iowa Power Farming Show starts Tuesday

The three-day event is third largest indoor farm show in the US

What organizers say is the third largest indoor agricultural equipment show in the upper Midwest kicks off Tuesday and continues through Thursday at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. The 2019 Iowa Power Farming Show features 7.7 acres of indoor exhibit space holding nearly 1,952 booths on seven floors.

Established in 1910, the Iowa Power Farming show consists of 760 companies not only from across the United States, but also from several Canadian provinces. Many new exhibitors will be among the companies showcasing products.

The pure ag show will feature the best ag has to offer from big iron, precision ag, aerial imaging, livestock production, data management and more.

There will be several educational opportunities with a powerful lineup of seminars and, back again for 2019, is the Ag Innovation Pitch competition on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Hy-Vee Hall.

The location in central Iowa means growers in the Hawkeye State can see the next big things in agriculture without incurring heavy travel expenses.

The Iowa Power Farming Show is owned and managed by the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association.

The 2019 incarnation of the Iowa Power Farming show just might turn out to be the grandest ever. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this exceptionally important event. And while you are there, be sure to pay a visit to the booth of our sister publication, Farm News.
