The former Catholic rectory in Dayton wound its way through rural gravel roads Thursday as it was moved 6.5 miles southeast to Hidden Acres Christian Center where it will now serve as a family home at the camp. The rectory was moved by Ensor Movers from Johnson, Nebraska.

Danielson, and her husband, Randy, are the former owners of the home and donated it to Hidden Acres, where Pals is the project manager for construction. The home will be named The Beverly House after Pals’ mother, Beverly Beasterfield.
