RICHARD E. DEAN
GOWRIE — Richard E. Dean “Dick”, 75, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021, at United Methodist Church, Gowrie, with Pastor Susan Rohden officiating. Military rites will be presented by the American Legion Post 431 of Gowrie. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie.
Dick is survived by his wife, Sue, daughter, Brenda (Nathan) Brandes, son, Rick Dean, grandchildren, Chelsey (Glen) Worrel, Anna (Ryan) Cottington, three great-grandchildren, Brantley, Lesley, and Laci. He is also survived by his brother, James (Carol) Dean of McKinney, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ann (Miller) Dean.
