DAN BURNS

ALGONA — Daniel Thomas Burns, 52, passed away November 15, 2017, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017, at St. Cecelia Catholic Church with Father Laurence Burns officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Oakcrest Funeral Services.

Dan is survived by Aicia, his wife of 12 years, his children Kaitlyn (10), Jillian (9), Jacob (7), and Luke (4); his mother Mary of Algona; his siblings Mary (Steve) Hilbert of Livermore, Jack (Lori) Burns of Algona, Sheila (Doug) Boelter of Algona, Amy (Tom) Elsbecker of Algona; father-in-law and mothers-in-law, Duane & Ann Brincks of Algona and Mary Clark of Algona; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Erik (Natalie) Brincks, Nicki Burlage, Nate Taylor; 14 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews, who lost the most loyal uncle in the world.
