Paton UMC ham ball dinner is Nov. 5

PATON — The United Methodist Church ham ball dinner will be held from 11:30 am. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the church in Paton. The menu will include ham balls, baked potato, green beans, homemade rolls, salad bar, pie and a drink. Cost is $8 for 11 years-old to adult and $4 for 10 years old and younger. Everyone is welcome to attend. Carry outs will be available. The church is handicap accessible.

Otho UMC annual pork loin dinner

OTHO — The Otho United Methodist Church will hold its annual pork loin dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 4 in the church basement. The menu will include pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls, pies and drink. Cost is $8 for adults, $ for children 5-11, preschoolers eat free. The public is welcome to attend. The church is handicap accessible.

Rummage/bake sale Thursday and Friday

Trinity United Methodist Church will host a rummage/bake sale from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday at the church, 838 N. 25th St.

SALT youth group will meet on Wednesday

The First United Methodist Church youth group SALT for middle-school youths will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, 127 N. 10th St. Children will be picked up at the middle school after classes and parents must pick them up by 5 p.m. A snack is served along with a lesson and lots of games and fun for youths.

Lehigh UMC soup supper Nov. 5

LEHIGH — The Lehigh United Methodist Church will hold a soup supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the church. The menu will include chili, chicken and noodle soup and cheddar broccoli soup. The cost is a freewill donation. Carryouts are available, but please bring your own container, as there are no containers suitable for soup. This is the church’s usual Second Sunday Supper, but it was moved forward one week because of a conflict with the Lord’s Portion Supper.
