Bake and craft sale today
EMMETSBURG — Come and enjoy coffee and rolls as the St. Paul Lutheran Church hosts a bake and craft sale from 9 to 11 a.m., today, at the church. There will also be theme gift baskets.
First Congregational cookie/bake sale
First Congregational United Church of Christ will hold its annual cookie and bake sale, “Cookies and More,” from 8 a.m. to noon today at the church, 1611 Williams Drive. Large containers of cookies and other Christmas goodies will be on sale, as well as crafts such as homemade aprons. Proceeds go to camp scholarships.
Jennie Williamson Christmas concert is Dec. 2
St. Paul Lutheran Church will host the 13th annual Jennie Williamson Christmas concert at 4 p.m., Dec. 2, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1217 Fourth Ave. S. Last year’s concert drew an estimated 500 people. This event is open to the community. A freewill offering will be taken.
Religious freedom will be topic at Lifetree Cafe
Dilemmas surrounding the right to religious freedom will be explored at noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lifetree Cafe. 29th annual Gemutlichkeit luncheon set for Dec. 2
HUMBOLDT — The Zion Lutheran Church will host its 29th annual Gemutlichkeit luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 2, at the church in Humboldt. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children younger than 10 and preschoolers eat for free.
