20th Worldwide Candle Lighting

The death of a child is devastating and it’s important to the family that the child always be remembered. That’s why members The Compassionate Friends (TCF) of Fort Dodge will participate in an annual worldwide event designed to honor the memories of all children, regardless of age, who have died. Swedish meatball dinner is Sunday

BOXHOLM — Trinity Lutheran Church will host a Swedish meatball dinner from 11:30 to 1 p.m., Sunday, at the church in Boxholm. Cost is a freewill donation.

The United Methodist Church will host The Filling Station at 5 p.m. on Monday at the church, 127 N. 10th St. The meal will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. with a contemporary service at 6:15 p.m. Cost is $5 per person or $15 per family. Reservation only, call 576-7586.

Secrets of contentment revealed

How to live a satisfying life, even in difficult times, will be explored at Lifetree Cafe on Tuesday, December 5th, at noon and 7pm. UMC second Sunday Dec. 10

LEHIGH – The Lehigh United Methodist Church will hold its second Sunday supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the church. This month will be a soup supper, featuring chili, chicken and noodle soup and broccoli cheese soup. Cost is a freewill offering. The supper is open to the public.
