Second Baptist Church, 1827 Fourth Ave. S., will hold a fish fry from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 18. The fish is whole whiting fillets. First United Methodist Church, 127 N. 10th St., will hold a rummage/bake sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday is a “sneak peek” sale from 4 to 6 p.m. for a $2 donation or donation of two food or paper products per person. The donations will go to the Lord’s Cupboard. The sale is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Saturday will feature $2 per bag or half-price on large items.
