Lehigh UMC supper Saturday

LEHIGH — Lehigh United Methodist Church Lord’s Portion Supper and Bake Sale is 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church in Lehigh. The menu is Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans or corn, salad, roll, pie and drink. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 10 years and free for preschoolers. Carryouts will be available. There will be a bake sale and quilt raffle.

Trinity UMC to hold rummage, bake sale

Trinity United Methodist Church, 838 N. 25th St., will hold a rummage sale and bake sale Thursday, Friday and Nov. 9 at the church. The sale will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The Saturday sale will be a fundraiser for the youth group. Sale will include household furnishings.

Trunk or treat set at Grace Lutheran

Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., will hold trunk or treat from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the church parking lot. Everyone is welcome. If there is bad weather, the event will be held inside the church.

Pork loin dinner planned in Otho

OTHO — The Otho United Methodist Church will hold its annual pork loin dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 2. The menu will include pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls, pies and a drink. Cost is $8 for those age 12 and older, and $3 for those ages 5 to 11. Preschoolers are free.

Fun run/walk will benefit food pantry

St. Edmond student Maggie Lennon, is holding a 5k fun run/walk at 4 p.m. Sunday at Snell Crawford Park to benefit the Holy Trinity Parish food pantry. Cost is $5 and everyone is encouraged to dress in costume. Holy Trinity Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and is located in the old Corpus Christi school building, 402 N. Eighth St.

Grace Lutheran Church sets fall schedule

Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., has announced the fall schedule. Oct. 27: Reformation worship at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., and cross-generational event at 9:30 a.m. The theme is “Don’t be Afraid.” Oct. 27: Trunk or Treat in our parking lot from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome. Dress up and join us for some good family fun. Nov. 3: we celebrate “All Saints’ Sunday.” We will commemorate those who we’ve lost this past year as well as celebrate those who have been baptized.
