Grace Lutheran Church sets fall schedule
Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., has announced the fall schedule.
Oct. 27: Reformation worship at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., and cross-generational event at 9:30 a.m. The theme is “Don’t be Afraid.”
Oct. 27: Trunk or Treat in our parking lot from 5 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome. Dress up and join us for some good family fun.
Nov. 3: we celebrate “All Saints’ Sunday.” We will commemorate those who we’ve lost this past year as well as celebrate those who have been baptized. Come and light a candle in honor of these saints and be encouraged.
Nov. 27: Thanksgiving Eve worship service at 7 p.m.
Dec. 4: We will celebrate St. Nicholas at 6:30 p.m.
Dec. 8: We will celebrate St. Lucia after both services 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Treats will be served.
Dec. 11: Christmas caroling at 5:30 p.m. Come and join us as we go to various locations around Fort Dodge and sing some favorites.
Dec. 15: At 10:45 a.m., the children will be leading worship as they tell the Christmas story like only they can.
Dec. 18: At noon we will have a special worship and soup lunch called the “Longest Night Service.” This is especially geared for those who might be having a tough time during the holiday season.
Dec. 24: Come celebrate Christ’s birth with us at 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Along with all these there are ongoing Bible studies, support groups, quilters, women’s groups, men’s groups who regularly get together. You are welcome at Grace Lutheran Church.
