Fort Dodge Women’s Connection brunch is Sept. 14
Fort Dodge Women’s Connection is holding a brunch at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 14 at Tea Thyme, 2021 Sixth Ave. S. The cost is $15. Reservations are required by Sept. 10 by calling Kathy Meinder at 408-7981.
The speaker will be Mary Loui Ziebell, of Urbandale. She is a tutor and former reading teacher. Her talk entitled “No Longer Ashamed” includes her childhood with an alcoholic parent, a lifetime journey of needing validation from others and how she became an overcomer. The special feature will be fall garden tips.
