One injured in incident in Gowrie

GOWRIE — One juvenile sustained injuries when they fell off of a moving vehicle in the Southeast Valley High School parking lot on Tuesday night, according to Gowrie Police Chief Patrick Monaghan.

According to Monaghan, the incident was reported at 6:04 p.m. and the victim was transported from the scene by the Southwest Webster Emergency Medical Service. Monaghan said he did not know the extent of the juvenile’s injuries.

An ambulance from the Fort Dodge Fire Department met the Gowrie ambulance between the two towns and a LifeFlight helicopter was called in.

Both the driver of the vehicle and the victim are juveniles and their names won’t be released, Monaghan said.
