Minor injuries reported in rollover

GRAETTINGER – A woman received minor injuries after an accident when the car she was driving rolled over.

Michelle Moen, of Armstrong, was driving north in the 2900 block of 490th Avenue in Vernon Township, according to a press release from the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office. Moen lost control of her 2007 Ford Fusion and ended up in the ditch on the east side of the road, the report said.

During the incident, deputies said the Ford hit a power pole and ended up on its top.

Moen was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital where she was treated for what were described as “non-incapacitating injuries.” She was also cited for failure to maintain control.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Graettinger Fire Department and Graettinger Ambulance.
