FDFD to get new truck

A new pumper truck for the Fort Dodge Fire Department has been ordered. The City Council on Monday voted to buy the truck from Pierce Manufacturing, of Appleton, Wisconsin, for $1,173,196. When the new truck is delivered in late 2028, it will replace a 2001 model now in use.
