Candidates forum set for Thursday
A forum featuring the three candidates in the October primary election for the at-large seat on the Fort Dodge City Council will be held Thursday night.
The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in the Tompkins Celebration Center at Friendship Haven, 420 Kenyon Road.
It will feature Councilman Neven Conrad, Eugene Newsome and Jim Underwood.
It is sponsored by a new group called People of Webster Exercising Responsibility. That’s a rejuvenated version of the former Well-Informed Webster People, which hosted forums and public meetings for several years.
