National Train Day rolls into the Depot Museum
Saturday event will feature telegraphy demonstration
webster city — Saturday is National Train Day, which celebrates and commemorates the history of the locomotive and rail travel in the United States and around the world.
The Wilson Brewer Historic Park and the Depot Museum in Webster City will celebrate Train Day on Saturday by opening its doors from 1 to 3 p.m. for visitors to stop by and view all of the exhibits.
Glenn and Marie Cue of Webster City, former station master and telegraph operators will be on hand to offer telegraph demonstrations.
Light refreshments will be served, according to organizers.
