Badger city audit released
BADGER — An audit on the city of Badger has been completed by T.P. Anderson & Co., of Humboldt.
The auditors reported that the city’s receipts totaled $1,342,325 for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2018.
Those receipts included $830,000 of loan proceeds, $161,118 in charges for services, $141,688 in property tax, $84,703 in operating and capital grants, and $77,097 in local option sales tax revenue.
According to the accounting firm, the city’s expenditures for the year totaled $1,434,409.
Those expenditures included $980,750 for capital projects, $70,952 for culture and recreation, $62,291 for public works, $45,504 for public safety, and $24,915 for debt service.
