FDCSD board to meet Monday
The Fort Dodge Community School District board will have a meeting Monday at the Central Administration Office, 104 S. 17th St.
The board will approve a juvenile court services contract for the 2014-15 year, consider bids for a middle school storage building project, and accept a monthly financial report for June 2014.
The board will also review several policies.
Doug Van Zyl, FDCSD superintendent, will update the board on district communications.
There will be no closed meetings, but the board will go into an exempt session before adjourning.
FDCSD board to meet Monday
The Fort Dodge Community School District board will have a meeting Monday at the Central Administration Office, 104 S. 17th St.
The district will receive a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, as well as an Award of Financial Reporting Achievement for Brandon Hansel, FDCSD director of financial services.
The board will hear a report on the district’s mission, vision and goals. Also, the board will approve district school improvement goals and hear a presentation on Early Learning Literacy.

The board will hold closed meetings at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
