In observance of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week, which is March 23-29, the Webster County office will be holding an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. March 26 at 217 S. 25th St., Suite C12.

There will be cookies and lemonade, free recipes from the Food and Nutrition program, a scavenger hunt with drawings for prizes for adults and kids, a coloring contest and temporary tattoos, and a variety of displays with information on topics including money management, 4-H youth programs, agriculture, business and industry, gardening and preserving foods, strengthening families, food and nutrition, and more.
