WEBSTER CITY — Webster City Community Theatre presents “Disney Beauty and The Beast JR” at 7 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at the theatre in Webster City. Reserved tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students at www.webstercitycommunitytheatre.org.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Kiwanis annual Flight Breakfast is 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Emmetsburg Airport. Pancakes, omelets, sausages and drinks will be served. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 6 to 12, children ages 5 and under and pilots are free.

LAKE CITY — Lake City’s 65th annual Western Days are TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Today there will be a free pool party from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lake City Pool and a beer garden and street dance at Town Square from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Saturday’s events include Lohrville and Churdan Lions Club breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m., kiddie parade at noon, parade at 1:30 p.m. and rodeo at Top Rail Saddle Club grounds at 7:30 p.m., gates open at 5 p.m. Rodeo admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Fireworks and live music follow the rodeo. Sunday’s events include cowboy breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at the rodeo grounds, community worship at 11 a.m. at the rodeo grounds and rodeo at 6 p.m. at the rodeo grounds, gates open at 5 p.m.

MANSON — Manson Crater Days are TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Manson. Today’s events include Middleton skills competition at 5, truck pulls at fairgrounds at 6 p.m. and outdoor movie at the MACC Youth Complex Softball field at 8 p.m. Saturday’s events include Middleton Classic golf tournament at 9 a.m., grand parade at 10 a.m., Crash My Crater 2024 featuring Warren Zeiders with special guest Royale Lynn at 8 p.m. on Main Street and fireworks at 10 p.m. Sunday’s events include community church service at 11 a.m. at the City Hall Gazebo, dog parade and hot dog meal from 1 to 3 p.m. and car show at City Hall Square from 1 to 4 p.m.

VINCENT — Vincent Fire and Rescue 67th annual Fireman’s Ball and Fundraiser begins at 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Vincent Community Center, Vincent. A smoked pork chop dinner with smoked baked beans, cheesy potatoes and roll will be served from 4:30 tp 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $17 per person and $5 for children ages 6 and under. An auction will begin after dinner with Section 7 Band performing following the auction.

BADGER — Badger Lutheran Church is holding its annual Steak Fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. TODAY at the church. The menu is a ribeye steak with baked potato, baked beans, green beans, salads, roll and drinks for $20. Children ages 11 and under will receive a free hot dog meal. Tickets are available at the door.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. People attending should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Lunch on Central is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY between the Webster County Courthouse and The Messenger. The menu is pork burger or tenderloin, pasta salad, potato chips and bottled water for $8. Trinity Methodist Church will be selling desserts.

FORT DODGE — Figure 8 Races are 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Speedway, 22770 Old Highway 169. Gates open at 5 p.m. Flags will be handed out to children at the grandstand gate. Grandstand admission is cash only. Grandstand admission is $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for children ages 6-12, free for children ages 5 and under. First responders will receive $5 off the entry fee. No food or drink is allowed in the grandstand gate. Food vendors will be available. Driver fees are $35, pit pass is $25. Pits open at 3 p.m.
