CLARION — The Choralaires Christmas Concert is 2 p.m. SUNDAY at Clarion United Methodist Church, Clarion. A freewill donation will be accepted.

GOWRIE — Gowrie United Methodist Women Coffee and Bazaar is 9 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the United Methodist Church, Gowrie. Coffee and baked items will be for sale including rye bread along with candy and craft items. There will also be a cookie walk.

CALLENDER — Women of the Word at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Callender, are holding an annual Christmas Fair from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY in the fellowship hall. There will be a bake sale, lefse sale, Christmas treasure and crafts. A lunch of beef burgers or chicken salad in a Krumkaka bowl with salads, cookies and Scandivanian pastries will be served. Lunch tickets are $10 for fourth grade through adult, $5 for preschoolers through third grade and children ages 3 and under eat for free. The fellowship hall is handicap accessible through the north or south doors.

WEBSTER CITY — The Webster City Women’s Club is holding its Festival of Trees from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City. There will be 20 decorated Christmas trees, Christmas music, refreshments and a tour of a vintage clothing display. A freewill offering will be accepted.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Chamber is hosting the Holiday Lighted Parade and Home for the Holidays Open House TODAY. The lighted parade begins at 6 p.m. on Broadway. Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children at 6:15 p.m. at the Chamber Building and receive treat bags and cookies. There will be holiday music, hot chocolate, popcorn and treats, and horse drawn wagon rides. Donations of non-perishable items will be accepted for the UDMO Food Pantry.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Public Library is holding “Gaming After Hours” from 2:30 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY at the library, Emmetsburg. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required.

EMMETSBURG — Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast fundraiser benenfiting the Emmetsburg Boy Scouts is 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the VFW, Emmetsburg.

EMMETSBURG — The Hospice Blue Christmas service is 5 p.m. SUNDAY at the Family Life Center, 711 Broadway, Emmetsburg. This non-denominational service is for anyone in the community that has lost a loved one.

GOWRIE — A Mission Pop-up Shop is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Gowrie Community Center, Gowrie. There will be unique and different gifts supporting local and global missions.

HUMBOLDT — Kiwanis Christmasland is open 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at 407 First Ave. S., Humboldt, directly south of the Humboldt City Hall. Donations will be accepted.

ROCKWELL CITY — St. Paul Lutheran and Presbyterian Church, Rockwell City, is holding its annual Cookie Walk and Bake and Craft Sale from 8 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY. Coffee and cinnamon rolls will be available also.

HUMBOLDT — Shine On at Sheldon is 6 to 9 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at Joe Sheldon County Park, Humboldt. Admission is $5 per vehicle.

GOWRIE — Gowrie Public Library, Gowrie, is holding a Christmas Open House from 1 to 5 p.m. TODAY. There will be a chance to win a gift basket.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Lights at Kennedy is 6 to 9 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at Kennedy Park Campground, 1415 Nelson Ave. Freewill donations will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Area Symphony presents “Sleigh Bells Ring” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Admission is by season ticket or $15 for adults at the door, students are admitted free.

FORT DODGE — Prairie Lakes Church, 200 Ave. O, is holding a Christmas Light Show from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. TODAY at the church. There will be cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas lights and Santa.

FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre, 521 N. 12th St., presents “Scrooge! The Musical” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY. Tickets are $10 per person.

There will be a Chris Cakes pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Breakfast tickets are $8. Proceeds will go toward the after prom party.

FORT DODGE — Share What You Wear, a community clothing event sponsored by Iowa Central Community College, is 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY in the Career Education Building at Iowa Central Community College.
