HARCOURT — Taco Bar Fiesta fundraiser is 5 to 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Harcourt Community Center, Harcourt. There will be a taco bar and assorted desserts for a freewill donation. A silent auction for baskets will also be held. All proceeds will fund the restoration of the community center.

LAKE VIEW — Stone Pier Summer Concert series presents The Pork Tornadoes with special guest Scott Kirkhart at 5:30 p.m. SATURDAY at Black Hawk Lake. There is no admission charge. Concertgoers are allowed to bring food and beverages to the picnic-style performances, food is available for sale with all proceeds directly benefitting the concert series.

LAKE VIEW — The Lake View Community Club’s 14th annual Sip and Sample is 2 to 5:30 p.m. SATURDAY on Main Street, Lake View. Admission is $20 per person, which includes a commemorative wine glass.

WEBSTER CITY — Arts R Alive is 3 p.m. SUNDAY at West Twin Park, 1100 Seneca St., Webster City.

EMMETSBURG — CDA’s Almost Summer Rummage Sale is 3 to 7 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Holy Family Parish Center, Emmetsburg. Freewill donations will be accepted.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Main Street Community Theatre presents “Disney Frozen Kids” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at the Dinges VanOosbree Performance Arts Center, Emmetsburg. General admission is $5 and the box office opens one hour prior to curtain.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Free fishing weekend is TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in the State of Iowa. Iowa residents can try fishing without buying a license as part of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) free fishing weekend. All other regulations remain in place.

FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation is holding a free Kids Fishing Clinic at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at Kennedy Park, 1415 Nelson Ave. Those attending should meet at the Heun Shelter. At noon, the YEA! Youth Empowerment Association, Inc. will be sponsoring a fishing tournament. For more information on the tournament, visit the Facebook page for Youth Empowerment Association.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the parking lot north of Brown’s Shoe Fit, 210 S. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Frontier Days Parade begins at 10 a.m. SATURDAY in downtown Fort Dodge.

FORT DODGE — Frontier Days is 4 to 11 p.m. TODAY, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. SATURDAY and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, One Museum Road. Wristbands for admission are $6 each or $22 total for a family of four.

FORT DODGE — Hillbilly Sale and Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169 S. Gate admission is $2 per person 12 and over. No fowl allowed of any kind. Food vendor available.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Ford Toyota — Ja-Mar Cruise is 5 to 8 p.m. TODAY at Fort Dodge Ford Toyota parking lot, 2723 Fifth Ave. S. There will be cars, motorcycles, food vendors, music and outdoor family fun. The event is free and open to the public.
