A new assistant county attorney will be joining the Webster County Attorney’s Office next month.

The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved the hiring of Ashley Beisch on Tuesday, to fill the vacancy left by former Assistant County Attorney Hans Becker.

Becker left the county attorney’s office in March after being appointed a district associate judge.

Beisch is an Algona native and was most recently working in private practice in Ogden. In January, she was a finalist for the district associate judge position along with Becker and Justin Deppe.

Beisch will begin her duties in Webster County on May 9.

Webster County Attorney Darren Driscoll said his office is happy to be welcoming Beisch in the coming weeks.
