This Chevy Aveo, driven by Rochelle Selhaver, was involved in a two-vehicle accident Sunday evening.

Two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance after a collision left their vehicle on its side Sunday evening.

Shortly before 7 p.m., 60-year-old Ernest Schoenfisch was traveling east on Avenue F with 79-year-old Ruth Schoenfisch in the passenger seat. Rochelle Selhaver, 49, was traveling north on B Street when she and Schoenfisch collided at the uncontrolled intersection.

Schoenfisch’s blue Chrysler Town and Country was turned onto its side due to the impact.

Selhaver’s red Chevy Aveo sustained damage as well, but Selhaver did not sustain any injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

Both Ernest and Ruth Schoenfisch were transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
