Labor agreements covering four groups of employees were approved by the Webster County Board of Supervisors Tuesday.

Specific information regarding those agreements was not available by press time.

The four agreements cover the following groups:

• Webster County sheriff’s deputies (Teamsters Local 238, Deputy Sheriffs);

• Webster County jailers (Teamsters Local 238, Jailers Unit);

• Webster County Courthouse personnel (Teamsters Local 238, Courthouse Unit);

• Webster County road employees (Public Professional and Maintenance Employees, Local 2003, Secondary Roads).

Supervisor Keith Dencklau was absent from the otherwise unanimous vote.

The agreements were originally going to be put to a vote at last week’s meeting on May 14. However, due to concerns raised by the supervisors, it was agreed to table the vote for a week.

The board approved the agreements without any discussion, other than to acknowledge that the vote had been tabled from the previous week.
