In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Moose Lodge, 424 First Ave. S., is holding an all-you-can-eat off the menu cooked to order breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. SUNDAY. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

FORT DODGE — Hillbilly Sale and Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169 S. Gate admission is $2 per person 12 and over. 4-H fundraiser breakfast and lunch each day.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding a Life Drawing class from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY. The class is for participants 18 years and older. Class size is limited to 10. Bring your own materials and draw from the human form in any of its various shapes and postures, from observation of a live model, using any drawing media. Cost is $10 to $20 depending on model.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding Clever Together from 3 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY for 2 to 5 year olds. Limit is seven children and seven adults. Cost is $3 for members and $5 for non-members.

FORT DODGE — Eagles Dance is 8 to 11 p.m. TODAY at 1018 First Ave. N., third floor ballroom. There will be a dance lesson at 7:15 p.m. Music from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s along with country music will be played. Admission is $10 per person. The dance is sponsored by Ballroom Buddies.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Larry Myer. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church, 127 N. 10th St., is holding a Community Manna Meal at 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Food will be provided by Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Callender. Bingo will follow the meal.

FORT DODGE — Aglow International of Fort Dodge & Surrounding Area presents Lisa Castillo, of Ames, at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. Free admission.

Honor Flight return welcome

FORT DODGE — The public is invited to give area veterans a rousing send-off at 5 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport, 1639 Nelson Ave., for the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight.

The Welcome Home, which the public is also encouraged to participate in, is 10:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport, 1639 Nelson Ave.

Book sale at FD Library

FORT DODGE — Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library Used Book Sale is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library, 424 Central Ave. Saturday will feature $1 per bag.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Lego Movie 2” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “Bell, Book and Candle” will be shown. Admission is free.

CLARION — Clarion annual citywide garage sales are TODAY and SATURDAY.

FONDA — Fonda Arts Center is holding a Mother’s Day program at 3 p.m. SUNDAY. Larry Heschke will perform classic country music from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Admission and refreshments are free.

FORT DODGE — Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N., second floor. There will be a salad buffet, quick breads with flavored butters, desserts and beverage. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carryouts will be available. Proceeds will go to 18 Eagles charities and the upkeep of the building.
