Two men who identified themselves as football players for Iowa Central Community College have been charged with willful injury for allegedly assaulting a Fort Dodge man.

The incident happened either late last night or early this morning, according to criminal complaints.

Jesse Driver Jr., 19, and Darryl Kelley, 20, both of Danville, Illinois, are each being held on $10,000 cash bonds.

The man allegedly hit and stomped a man in the head in the 300 block of Avenue M West. The man suffered from a broken eye socket, according to the complaint.

Both men made their initial appearances in Webster County Magistrate Court Tuesday morning.

Preliminary hearings have been set for Nov. 8.
