Cayci Bidleman, 17, a student at Fort Dodge Senior High, shares her thoughts Saturday morning during the Youth Empowerment Association Inc. and Iowa Central Diversity Committee Youth Forum held in the Bioscience & Health Science Building at Iowa Central Community College. Students from Iowa Central, Fort Dodge Senior High, St. Edmond and Manson Northwest Webster high schools shared their experiences on a wide variety of topics — including education, diversity, underage drinking, social media and bullying. The annual event gives members of the community an opportunity to listen to the concerns of students in the community and help initiate a conversation to address those issues.
