The jury has been seated in the trial of Levi Gibbs III, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Shane Wessels.

The 13-person jury, which includes one alternate, was sworn in around 11:45 a.m.

The prosecution is set to begin its case with opening statements shortly after 1 p.m.
