FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Jeremy Ober. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Hawkeye Community Theatre, 521 N. 12th St., presents “Curtain Up!” at 7 p.m. TODAY and 2 and 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the theater. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door.

FORT DODGE — First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H., presents Gospel music recording artists Phil and Pam Morgan at 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the church. There is no admission charge. A freewill offering will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Area Symphony will hold a concert at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St. Admission is by season membership or at the door. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $6 for students.

FORT DODGE — Moose Lodge, 424 First Ave. S., is holding an all-you-can-eat off the menu cooked to order breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. SUNDAY. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

FORT DODGE — The Moose Lodge will hold a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the lodge, 4224 First Ave. S.

FORT DODGE — First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, is holding Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. SUNDAY. Children may come dressed in costume. There will be trunks filled with goodies. There will be a Fort Dodge police car, Fort Dodge fire truck, Dodger Nation truck and Life Flight helicopter at the event.

FORT DODGE — Linking Families and Communities presents KIDZMANIA, a fun family adventure, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the Crossroads Mall, 217 S. 25th St. This free event will feature the ISU Insect Zoo, Bluedorn Science Imaginarium, balloons, face painting, games and crafts, the Iowa League of Heroes and Little Princess Parties and stage performances by Vicky’s Dance & Tumbling Academy, Hollingsworth School of Dance & Gymnastics, Stage Door Productions, Magic of Larry Dunbar and the Comedia Musica Players. FORT DODGE — The Webster County Democrats will hold a pork chop dinner at 5 p.m. SUNDAY at the Lions Den, 731 Exposition Drive. Doors open at 4 p.m. Program starts at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. Menu includes Iowa pork chops, two sides and a dessert. A number of Democratic candidates for office will be in attendance.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Noon Lions will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Lions Den, 731 Exposition Drive. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for kids under 10.

FORT DODGE — The documentary film “With a Cup of Sugar” will be shown at 2 p.m. SUNDAY in the BioScience and Health Sciences building at Iowa Central Community College.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Boss Baby” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

WEBSTER CITY — Legacy Learning Boone River Valley is holding Superheroes of Nature from 6 to 8 p.m. SATURDAY at Briggs Woods Park shelter #2, Webster City. This night hike will show what super hero like traits local animals have that roam around Iowa. The event is free.

RUTHVEN — Palo Alto County Conservation and Palo Alto Garden Club are hosting the Iowa Honey Queen from 10 to 11:30 a.m. SATURDAY at the Lost Island Nature Center, Ruthven. Carly Ray Vannoy, 2017 Iowa Honey Queen, will give a presentation about honey bees and their importance, honey and beekeeping.

SAC CITY — First Presbyterian Church, Sac City, presents Passport to Divine Destinations Bazaar, Morning Coffee and Lunch SATURDAY at the church. The bazaar hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Morning coffee is 9 to 10:30 a.m. for $2. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $6.

GRAETTINGER — Lost Island Lutheran Church is holding a soup and pie supper from 4 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY. The menu is chili, chicken noodle and vegetable beef soups, homemade bread and pie. Gluten free items will be available. Cost is a freewill donation.

CLARE — Webster County Public Health will hold a flu shot clinic from 1:30 to 2 p.m. TODAY at the Clare Public Library. It will be $25 per shot. No charge for Medicare. Bring your Medicare card.

CLARION — A haunted house will be held from 7 to 10:30 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY in Lions Park in Clarion. Tickets are $10 at the door.

CLARION — The Spooktacular 5K Glow Run and Walk will be held SATURDAY with activities at 6:30 p.m. and the Run/Walk beginning at 8 p.m. at the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows football field/track. Cost is $5 for kids, $10 for adults, or $35 maximum for a family.

EMMETSBURG — An apple harvest festival will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. TODAY at Lakeside Lutheran Home, Emmetsburg. There will be a short program and apple based desserts.
